Something Special

When I saw the Leblas Filigree Links rings I immediately thought they were stunning. I am quite in love with the pretty, intricate details. No wonder Sienna Miller is a fan of Leblas jewellery.

The contemporary designs by award-winning designer Arabel Lebrusan, are hand-made by a small group of craftsmen in Spain. These craftsmen are part of a tradition, using skills they have learnt through their parents and generations before them making these rings truly something special.

The rings come in four versions; silver, rose gold, yellow gold or black rhodium at £150 each, all with adjustable backs so they will always fit and can be cherished forever!

Leblas ‘Fluid’ collection

Necklaces aren’t just a bit of metal that hangs around your neck, at least the latest collection from Leblas suggests otherwise. Pieces from the new Fluid collection flow down to shape into the contours of your body. With each ring of recycled sterling silver so intricately attached to the next, you can truly appreciate the effort that gone into creating this beautifully crafted jewellery. With a choice as to whether you’d prefer the necklace coated in 18ct gold, the large necklaces would suit any outfit – particularly those with a lower neckline. 

Designer Arabel Lebrusan has spared a thought for all occasions with the necklace also being available in a smaller shape for a more subtle, yet just as sophisticated, look. If you want to find the perfect accompaniment to one of these necklaces, then you’ll be troubled to find anything more complementary than the matching bracelets and earrings. 

The latter fall from your ears in the same way that a waterfall cascades, reminding you of the name of the collection once more. Fluid is definitely a collection you shouldn’t let run away from you!

Estethica

Estethica returned to LFW for its fourth year, having grown vastly in size, thirty seven exhibitors took to their stalls to showcase their Spring/Summer 2011 collections. New exhibitors deserving of a mention include Erin O’Connor’s joint venture with Kate Halfpenny, She Died of Beauty, for their simplistic t-shirts and bags with simple slogans.

Additionally, Lost Property of London founder Katy Bell impressed visitors with her unique collection of bags which have been rescued from lost items and tailored to create impressive designs – using offcuts from Liberty to produce spectacular pieces. In fact, there were so many more exhibitors worthy of a mention; hopefully these images will give you an idea of what went on besides the catwalk shows....

The Ethical Justice Foundation continues to make a statement with bold t-shirts with designer collaborations from the likes of Richard Nicoll and Jade Jagger. Their green ethics were matched with a similarly green stall with mannequins to match.

Upcycling is still the main focus of goodone. Whilst they may be busy with their recent Topshop launch, they’ve still found the time to create an original SS11 line including a jacket created from old tents left at festivals!

As well as providing her designs to the Prophetik catwalk show, Nina Dolcetti has produced a whole range of stunning shoes including favourites from last season in new colours. It was the heels that really shone for me, although that’s not to take anything away from a beautiful pair of nude flats with purple details which I loved.
