Eco Photo Shoot - Bringing the generations together!

Striding Out are hosting their first ever ethical photo shoot experience in par with the Generations Together programme and Social Pioneer. The aim of the day will be to introduce under 25’s to over 50’s in a team bonding session, where the over 50’s will be styled by the under 25’s in preparation for a magazine style photo shoot. They have some great ethical brands which include Elysambre, Aveda, BoBelleBourgeois Boheme, Clothes by Outsider, Bibico and Pinguish who will be contributing to the day with clothes and make-up.

Striding out are excited to have stylist Lupe Castro in helping the under 25's style and dress and helping organise the photo shoot. Lupe Castro based in Hammersmith & Fulham is one of the UK’s most prolific stylists and fashion writers in the ethical fashion industry, working with celebrities, models and fashion magazines in creating stunning, individual looks coupled with the very cutting edge of ethical fashion and style.

There will also be talks given by the Eco companies involved on the day, which is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about ethical fashion!

The shop will bring the very best of Stockbridge and Westfield London, mixing designer, high street, local and ethical fashion donated by Beyond Skin and Organik Rocka.

Make-up doesn't have to be Toxic

Ever thought about the amount of chemicals used in your day to day make-up? some of us are switching to organic face creams and deodorant but a lot of us are still unaware of the toxic chemicals in make-up! To name a few we are talking parabens, mercury and carcinogens.

Which is why it's great to see more and more Eco skin care brands creating Eco make-up as well, one of the top Eco brands Green People has a great collection of nine natural make-up essentials that are like 'organic food for your skin' feeding in the purest quality blend of mineral pigments, plant extracts and natural ingredients.

The pressed mineral powder is great for not clogging pores, which gives a nice natural look and priced at a very reasonable £19.99.

A few of the other essentials they stock are lipsticks, mascara, concealer and eye shadow - check them out at www.greenpeople.co.uk
